17 日晚 19 點微軟正式開始了面向 Windows 8 和 Windows RT 的 Windows 8.1/RT 8.1 的推送。兩天后，微軟暫時從 Windows Store 應(yīng)用商店暫時撤下了 Windows RT 8.1 更新，原因是部分 RT 用戶遇到了狀況。

微軟在支持論壇中公告：正在調(diào)查影響一部分用戶更新 Windows RT 設(shè)備至 Windows RT 8.1 系統(tǒng)的問題。目前微軟已經(jīng)暫時從 Windows Store 內(nèi)停止了 Windows RT 8.1 的推送。但微軟未具體說明問題。

部分 Windows RT 用戶稱在更新 RT 8.1 時啟動數(shù)據(jù)被破壞，導(dǎo)致設(shè)備無法使用，只能通過恢復(fù)介質(zhì)修復(fù)或送廠恢復(fù)。目前未知微軟何時會恢復(fù) Windows RT 8.1 的推送。
