free 顯示 系統(tǒng)中 已用和未用的 物理內(nèi)存和交換內(nèi)存, 共享內(nèi)存和內(nèi)核使用的 緩沖區(qū)的 總和.

選項(xiàng) (Options)

-b 選項(xiàng) 以字節(jié)為單位 顯示 內(nèi)存總和; -k 選項(xiàng) (缺省的) 以 KB 為單位 顯示; -m 選項(xiàng) 以 MB 為單位.

-t 選項(xiàng) 顯示 一個(gè) 總計(jì)行.

-o 選項(xiàng) 禁止 "buffer adjusted" 行的顯示. 除非 指定 free 從 (相應(yīng)的) 已用/未用的 內(nèi)存 減去/加上 緩沖區(qū)內(nèi)存.

-s 使 free 以 delay 秒為間隔, 連續(xù)抽樣顯示. delay 可以設(shè)置成浮點(diǎn)數(shù), 它用 usleep(3) 做 微秒級(jí) 延遲.

-V 顯示版本信息.

NAME

free - Display amount of free and used memory in the system  

SYNOPSIS

free [-b | -k | -m] [-o] [-s delay ] [-t] [-V]  

DESCRIPTION

free displays the total amount of free and used physical and swap memory in the system, as well as the buffers used by the kernel. The shared memory column should be ignored; it is obsolete.  

Options

The -b switch displays the amount of memory in bytes; the -k switch (set by default) displays it in kilobytes; the -m switch displays it in megabytes.

The -t switch displays a line containing the totals.

The -o switch disables the display of a "buffer adjusted" line. If the -o option is not specified, free subtracts buffer memory from the used memory and adds it to the free memory reported.

The -s switch activates continuous polling delay seconds apart. You may actually specify any floating point number for delay, usleep(3) is used for microsecond resolution delay times.

The -V displays version information.
