Apache HTTP Server（簡稱Apache）是Apache軟件基金會的一個開放源碼的網(wǎng)頁服務(wù)器，可以在大多數(shù)計算機操作系統(tǒng)中運行，由于其多平臺和安全性[1]被廣泛使用，是最流行的Web服務(wù)器端軟件之一。它快速、可靠并且可通過簡單的API擴展，將Perl/Python等解釋器編譯到服務(wù)器中。
Apache現(xiàn)在的穩(wěn)定系列是2.2(2.2.22) 遺留穩(wěn)定版2.0/(2.0.64).2.3系列已經(jīng)發(fā)布到了2.3.16-Beta.今天官網(wǎng)的開發(fā)目錄下放出現(xiàn)了2.4.1的下載。（2012-01-31放出的2.4.0).盡管Nginx勢頭很猛，但相信世界上使用Apache的仍然占大多數(shù)。 2.4.1分成兩個包，把apr單獨做成一個dep包。
